My artistic genes come from my family. My father was a famous artist in Gangzhou, China. He studied different art forms his entire life and was a great influence upon me. I learned drawing when I was child and won an international children's drawing competition award at age ten. My younger brother, also a competition winner, and I were written up in a major local newspaper for our accomplishments. We both received many letters from children and young adults and became role models for other young aspiring artists. My artistic road lay before me.

I chose to be a graphic designer. I discovered I liked design more than drawing and I believe I was born to it. I began designing when I was in elementary school. It was there my first grade teacher discovered my drawing talent. She asked me to design the student display board, for class news and student articles. This was my unique responsibility from elementary school through the end of my high school education. I earned a graphic design certificate from the famous Gangzhou Academy of Art University. I later attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California and earned a graphic design BFA degree. I have worked in the graphic design field for over 14 years and have obtained a Web Design and Development certificate from UC Santa Cruz extension.

My goal, as a media designer, is to provide a broad range of services and use my graphic arts skills to design and develop unique and highly attractive web sites.
